Director

       Mario is currently the Director of Aftermath Percussion. He has been with the group since it’s rebirth in 2014, serving as the Tenor Technician and Battery Coordinator. Mario has also worked with independent percussion groups Riptide (2000-2002) and United Percussion (2004).

       Mario Started his drum corps career in the Crossmen tenor line in 1987. He continued playing tenors with the Westshormen from 1990-1993, winning high percussion at DCA Championships in 1991. Mario then returned to teach the Crossmen tenor line for the 1994 and 1995 seasons.

       Through the 90s, he also taught several high school programs, holding a range of positions from percussion consultant to percussion caption head. Some of the schools he’s taught include Hatboro-Horsham (including the Innovations Indoor Ensemble), Spring Grove, Cumberland Valler, Mechanicsburg, Souderton, and Upper Dublin. The Innovations Indoor Ensemble won three CIDA percussion championship titles while he was on staff.
